How to play
The goal
The farmer’s sign shows how much resistance the dam needs. Paint the resistor’s four color bands to match before the water arrives. A correct dam holds back the flood and your crops grow. Too little resistance floods the field; too much dries it up.
Controls
- Tap a color, or press 0–9, for each band, then press Build ✓ or Enter.
- ⌫ Undo removes the last band.
- The speaker button turns sound on or off.
Reading the bands
- Band 1 and band 2 are the first two digits.
- Band 3 is the number of zeros to add (the multiplier).
- Band 4 is the tolerance: gold ±5%, silver ±10%.
Colors: black 0, brown 1, red 2, orange 3, yellow 4, green 5, blue 6, violet 7, grey 8, white 9. Example: yellow, violet, red = 4, 7 and two zeros = 4,700 Ω = 4.7 kΩ.
Lives and levels
You have 3 lives and 10 levels, each ending with a boss. From level 4 the sign shows the value both with a prefix and in full ohms (like 4.7 kΩ and 4,700 Ω), and kΩ, MΩ and tolerance come into play.
No saves to worry about: each game starts fresh, and only your sound on/off choice is remembered in your browser.
